Inner London is strong Green territory and they managed to get several councillors elected in the 2006 local elections. Outside of London they only have support in a handful of towns such as Brighton, Oxford, Norwich, and Lancaster. The Greens perform poorly in white working class areas. They also have a habit of fielding white candidates in heavily ethnic wards and ending up with poor results. Despite being a pro-immigration and pro-multicultural party, the Greens are almost as white as the BNP.
