Look at it this way, its a start. UKIP is one of the fastest growing political parties in the UK. Its like some fool said to me: "if UKIP are so good, how come labour won the election". I said back, "well prehaps an 80 year headstart could make a difference".

Labour didn't win last year's General Election in England. They got less votes than the Conservatives.
Labour are now behind UKIP in the rural and suburban south of England (according to local council By-Eleciton results this year and the result of the Bromley Parliamentary By-Election in June 2006).
