Nothing. In the original argument, we were
talking about the US - which still has the same Fifth Amendment today as it did in the late 18th century.

I haven't discussed UK law today Matt. The discussion we were having was about US law in a thread about the US in the "International Politics" section. And there's no "reckon" about it - go and read the Fifth Amendment.
So all this UK stuff is either you straw-manning or you've truly lost sight of the fact that the US and UK are two separate countries (not hard to do, I imagine, if you've been taking any notice of the anti-Bush crowd).
In the UK you have the right to do exactly as Princess Tony and his Witch wish. Period.
