The UKIP vote share of 2% for the midlands (of England) and Wales (above) is too low, in my opinion. It all started in the English midlands as far as the fight against the EEC/EU goes and UKIP did very well in 2004 in the 'east' midlands 'region' (over 25% of the vote). I believe UKIP's vote in the midlands (of England) is higher than the figure given above.
The share of 4% for UKIP in the 'north' is a good one for the party.
