With that amount of passion I think an even more dramatic death is called for. Try this:
Hangman's noose around the neck at a height of 90 feet.
Firing squad shoots him in the heart and he falls from the gallows.
The firing squad reloads and shoots at the rope suspending him in mid-air. Their shots sever the rope and he falls the 90 feet to a bed of poisoned spikes below where he is impaled.
Deadly pre-historic Komodo Dragons are then unleashed to tear his body apart limb by limb.
Once his body is totally consumed the Dragons are incinerated by a napalm attack.
