As usual, Nigel has missed the point. The government is too guilty to give us figures, but accorrding to city firm Capital Economics 900,000 immigrants came here last year.
Nigel is making the usual mistake of asking the government to do something about it. He should, of all people, know it can't. All control over our immigation was handed to the EU in the 1997 Amsterdam Treaty, and since then the EU has let in up to 4.5 million people. Stand on any London street corner and you can hear them.
It is part of the EU's deliberate campaign to remove our identity as a nation so we can be easily assimilated into the EU dictatorship.
Nigel cannot learn. He's still saying the EU costs us 40 billion a year, when the Better Regulation Commission Annual Report, with a forward by, a picture of, and signed by, Tony Blair, says the annual cost of implementing EU regulations alone is now 100 billion a year, or nearly 10% of our economy.
Even the Labour Party thinks the cost of the EU is 100bn more than the leadership of UKIP.
Nigel is so far behind where the EU is now there is no hope of him catching up with the position on the ground.
Asking the EU to veto the accession of Bulgaria and Romania won't do it. Repealing the 1997 Amsterdam Treaty would.
