People want to be told everything will be good for them..
That's why lying and deceit seem to have such great returns for the old parties still, even with half the population turned off.
People who do think about things and see them for what they are, also believe UKIP is no different. Thus the people that actually vote, are the ones who fall for spin and lies.
Be evil to be evil? Not a nice conclusion to come to, but it's one I am rapidly approaching.
That's being the case, then what is the point. Perhaps Mandelson and his chums are right. Perhaps Democracy is nothing but a farce and ending all the pretence is the next logical step. Of course this means those in power at the time, lock it in forever. Hasn't that been the case for some time now anyway?
