I am neither of the above but feel these issues are of huge importance. I know of people who tell me they intend to vote BNP out of frustration. UKIP needs firm policies in this area and should not be afraid to stand up to the cries of racism from the media.

Apologies if this is being addressed or I am in the wrong thread but the public need to know where UKIP stand on this.
I am not a BNP member but I have voted for them - twice. Mainly as a protest in an attempt to wake up mainstream parties INTO phpbb_doing something about completely unfettered immigration. I have also voted ukip twice. In an effort to do the same. Now the main parties have all displayed their ineptitude in dealing with the issues closest to my heart, like immigration/EU membership etc. I shall continue to vote for fringe parties.
