EU plotting to ban Britons from travelling to Belarus
The EU is plotting to impose a travel ban on people going to Belarus (White Russia). But does the EU actually have the power to stop EU so-called 'citizens' going there or coming here (to the UK). It is appalling that the EU is able to prevent Britons from travelling to another sovereign jurisdiction outside the EU. But does the EU actually have this power - it seems it has given itself the power (as it has done on so many other issues) and no national government (of an EU member state) is challenging the EU over these illegal power-grabs.
I take the view that the internal affairs of Belarus are not the business of the EU. One day the EU is going to stick its nose INTO phpbb_some country/region of the world and get a hard punch in the face  .
