A party spokesman says, although we realise that the probabtion service made mistakes.
The problem is that the system believes that someone who was convicted of attempted murder, should be released after a set period of time, whether they are safe or not.
Hanson was released early, however he was going to be released in 6 years time. If he had been kept in prison for 6 years longer, he would not have murdered John Monckton, but probably would have murdered someone else.
We believe that people who commit murder, attempted murder or manslaughter during a robbery or burglary, should only be released if the probabation board can guarantee 100% that they are safe.
A lot of people believe that we are only concerned about the EU and immigration. However, this is not true, we want Britain to have the low crime rates, it had only 40 years ago. One ways, that we will achieve this will be to ensure that people who are dangerous do not re-offend. We have a comprehnsive policy to solve the other parties' failure.
