I have now been informed that there will not be an investigation INTO phpbb_this. Lawrence Webb, the London Regional Organiser, who passed on the rumour is not even going to be asked who started the 'rumour'.
Apparently it is perfectly normal and expected for candidates to create false rumours about each other and I am just making a fuss.
Nor does it matter that a senior UKIP staff member is passing on unverified comments to other members about a candidate.
