Yes the EU does cost the UK tax payer billions of £. I heard in some statistics that it is close to £30Billion before the new budget deal was made. But many people will still believe the lies from the LIBLABCON. Refference to recent European parliment debate, Blair mentioned "it is 2005, not 1945" He is is clearly saying here that European integration is the cause for peace and stability in Europe in the second half of the 20th Century. So has he disregarded NATO which also includes the most powerful nation in the world, USA. It would be unwise to dismantle NATO for a European only alliance. That would be very foolish. Since 1945 there have still been many wars and conflicts in Europe. The EU did nothing to stop the atrocities in the Balklands on more than one occasion. The EU wants to expand to this region and this region generally feels the same but surely there must have been a way that didnt involve genocide and ethnic cleansing. What has the EU done to implement peace in regions such as Northern Ireland and the Basque regions of Spain.
