I confess to avoiding many threads where Christianity is being criticised. I think the Holy Spirit is involved in changing people's hearts and minds, and forums don't seem to be a place where He operates like that.
As to the first, not a bad idea. Strange as it sounds, personally I think people make an error in lumping 'Christianity' together with those who call themselves 'Christians'. This statement needs some explaining, so here goes:-

When 'Christianity' is critiscised, normally the direction is for the things that have happened in the past IN THE NAME of Christianity, or by quoting examples where the Christian church is involved in something not-so-nice or horribly politically correct. In othe words, the critisism is aimed at Christianity the institution, not Christ the person, nor, I think, those people who call themselves 'Christians' most of whom (reading between the lines) are Christians in the sense of a personal experience with Christ rather than hopping along to the local C of E three times a year.

For those in the 'personal experience' category, politics must be a minefield BUT the values we must take forward in UKIP (or progcon, if you must Chrissy) won't be, I hope, too far removed from your own positions.

Some of us only have to 'keep the faith' in one sphere - you have to do it in two. Not easy, but keep trying.

As to the second Christina, as far as i can recall the Holy Spirit will operate where ever he wants to!
