PNAC? Let the Americans learn to look after themselves before they try and take on the world.

Their internal organisational ability is doubtful (Katrina) and they have cocked up the peace in Iraq (although the war seemed to go ok).

Most importantly the US Government has generated a great deal of dislike abroad. Whenever something goes wrong for the US there are no shortage of gloaters from other nations.

Leaders do not have to be popular (although it helps). Most importantly leaders need respect and credibility which at the moment, they seem to be lacking.

I agree with Intbel on this

"We don't need any one leader or Country as a world leader - we just need good leaders in each country who can work together rather than against each other."
