Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
Free movement of labour = unregulated immigration. If you restrict their ability to settle its not free movement is it.
The age balance of our population definately does not require a significant input of younger workers. Overpopulation is a far more serious threat than an aging population. Ukip completely rejects that argument in our manifesto.
My grandfather traveled to Britain to find work, he permanently settled here.

Our problem at present is that we are ..... suffering from substantial skill shortage.

No we are not. Employers should train more workers. I had difficulty finding work as an engineer with an OND.
I generally belive in a free market, however we are talking about the utilitys here. It is impossible to have a free market in water for instance. I belive water, electricity, coal and the Railways should be renationalised. (Of course the railways and coal should never have been nationalised in 1948). Free market fundamentalism will get us nowhere.
