EVERYWHERE in the South is being forced to build new housing. I have read in the Woking local rag today, that on top of all the high rise flats being crammed INTO phpbb_the town centre, they will be forced to build another 5000 home by 2026 extra. The unelected regional assembly is of course forcing this, yet the papers report it as some sort of great project for 1st time buyers. They forget to tell us that traffic levels will get worse than they already are and that we will be packed in like battery hens.
I have now been personally approached by a property developer called Chantry Estates, who want to buy up my house and neighbours to convert out 3-5 houses INTO phpbb_a block of apartments. I have to say, if they offer me the right amount, I will find it very hard not to take it up and ****** off to Canada where you can buy 89 acres of forest, lakes and natural beauty for 15k. You pay less tax and have lower expenses all round.
It is getting more and more difficult to justify staying here.
