How come David Icke isn't sued by the people he attacks?

He calls presidents, MP's and all kinds of other people paedophiles and Satanists. He accuses them of sacrificing babies and rape, yet he is still in business. His website gets massive amounts of hits, and he sells his books on Amazon and Tesco! He obviously has a big following, yet the polititians let him do it, when normaly they sue for calling them a bit chubby.
