So now they are under pressure to hit this target. They have two choices -
a) Massage the stats, which is probably getting quite hard now, as they are already over-massaged.
b) Haul in a few easy targets to bump the figures up. Expect motorists to be thrown in prison for going 2 mph over the limit soon!
Where does the figure 15% come from anyway, probably straight out of Blunketts ****.
Why can't they just focus on making the police efficient, well equiped, well trained and trusted. Don't these mentally challenged morans understand that results will follow if you get the basics right?
