Economics of an English Parliament

Removal of all the Celt Constituenies from the British Parliament to make it INTO phpbb_an English Parliament will result in tremedous economic savings.

The House of Lords can then be become a Federal Upper Chamber for the UK dealing with Defence and Foreign Affairs

This has the following advantages

1 There will be enough seats in the English House of Commons for all English MP's to set down (rather messy at the moment with people sitting in the gang ways and standing at the entrance - especially at Question Time)

2 Kick out 71 Scots MP's
They earn about £80K a year plus £50K expenses
so that's 71 x £130K = £9.23 Million Saved by English Tax Payer

3 Kick out 39 Welsh MP's
They earn about £80K a year plus £50K expenses
so that's 39 x £130L = £5.07 Million Saved by English Tax Payer

4 Kick out the 18 Irish MP's
They earn about £80K a year plus £50K expenses
so that's 18 x £130K = £2.34 Million Saved by the English Tax Payer

So all in all the cost of an English Parliament so far is

Minus - £16.64 Million per year

5 Then of course we have the Barnet Formula
Saving the English Tax Payer - £30 Billion a year

6 The equivalent for Wales
Must be £5 Billion

7 The equivalent for Northern Ireland
Must be £10 Billion

So we now have a nett saving of something like

Just over £45 Billion per year for the English Tax Payer

===========================================

It only goes to prove that most MP's are THICK, as the idea of an English Parliament does not really need much to think about !

Why is it not a UKIP policy ?
