How is it that this time round so many people are earning lots of dosh (à la Ken Bigley) by doing the work. Don't tell me the Iraqis are too scared to do it - plenty of them seem willing to risk death queueing up for a job in the police force. Is all the reconstruction money disappearing in one big scam?
Jeez mate, I would've thought that was obvious.

US invades Iraq and earns $$$$$$$$ via the arms trade when they re-arm after the war. Take a look at exactly who owns shares in these arms companies and you'll find quite a few top flight US politicians.

They then earn $$$$$$$$$ by giving rebuild contracts to mainly US companies.

No doubt the new puppet government will be so grateful to the US that cheap oil will be some part of their deal as payment for getting rid of Saddam. Once again, take a look at who has dealings in these oil companies and you might be surprised.

The whole thing is one big con :x
