I actually think that it is a reasonably fair analysis of the party. Certainly if we were to set up a "UKIP Youth" movement we would have to put the maximum entry age at about 45 to ensure getting enough members.

That part isn't true. The clear message from the conference was that the dividend was only a small bonus to leaving the EU and not the main thrust of our economic policy. The party heartily endorsed apolicy of aiming for small government and we are aiming to make sweeping changes in the way things are handled, rather than changing the funding necessarily.

The main aim is to give back the responsibiity and trust to doctors, teachers, police and so on to run their own affairs rather than being micr-managed from central government. This will increase productivity, efficientcy and morale right across the public sector.
