I dont know if anyone is interested in this, but I'll tell you all anyway.

Earlier this year I went to holland with my family to support my brother in a football tournament.
Most of the time not spent watching the games, I got speaking to the locals. When I was speaking to one man he seemed to think that holland was one of the largest investors in europe in scale to their size. I certainly believed this could very well be true. After more talking with the same man I could tell he obviously felt violated, as he put it "its like being invaded again". He then, spoke to me like he was in a occupied country, and insisted that Britain should not be a part of the plans of the future for the EU.

The sad thing was he was not the only person who passionately opposed the EU. Obviously there would be supporters of it all in holland, but I didnt seem to see many.
The other thing that struck me was these people were angered by how their lives had been changed by the actions of the EU, But I could tell just in my short stay there, aspects of their lives beat british problems hands down (e.g sports facilities, policing, clean streets, aswell as many more).

Maybe the Friesen people didnt realise what was happening until it was too late. Just a few more examples of why we shouldnt persist with getting engulfed by the EU and its bureaucracy.
