While the average salary in Britain may be something like £24,000, that number is raised dramatically by the ultra-high earners. A starting teacher gets under £18,000. Are the Tories saying that they wouldn't let anyone in unless they can walk straight INTO phpbb_a management job? Anyway, their £24K figure seems excessively high to me.

It isn't a complete withdrawal from the EU, but it is as close as the Tories will ever get to admitting that the EU is a mistake, since they are as responsible as Labour for getting us INTO phpbb_this mess.
